Nixie clock instructions At startup the nixie tubes display all 1's (11:11:11) or 3's (X3:33:33) Ones indicate that manual time set is enabled, threes indicate that gps / wifi is enabled for automatic time and date display. To select, press slow set button for the ones (manual set) and press fast set for the threes (gps / wifi set) 11:11:11 = time set using buttons (manually) X3:33:33 = gps / wif sets time (automatically) During this period, the time zone can be set / changed by pressing "toggle" button Press toggle button once to enter time zone select mode. The display will indicate XX:XX:00 Press fast set to increment through each zone; please refer to the time zone list to select the number for your time zone. When the correct number is displayed, press slow set twice. The display will change to twos (22:22:22) or zeroes (00:00:00) To enable the date display, press fast set and the display will indicate all 2's (22:22:22) To disable the date display press slow set and the display will indicate zeroes (00:00:00) The display should read X1:11:XX for 60 HZ, or X0:00:XX for 50 HZ. If this doesn't match the proper frequency, unplug the clock and wait a few minutes and plug it back in, wait for the cycle to display the frequency, and verify it is the correct setting. 1:11 = 60 HZ (USA and some others) 0:00 = 50 HZ (most other countries) Finally, the display cycles to :12 indicating 12 hour format. Default is 12 hour format. To select other formats, press fast set once and the display will indicate :24, this is 24 hour format without leading zero. Press fast set again to cycle through the other choices, which are :02 (12 hour format with leading zero) and :04 (24 hour format with leading zero) :12 = 12 hour format, no leading zero. :24 = 24 hour format, no leading zero. :02 = 12 hour format, leading zero. :04 = 24 hour format, leading zero. When your selection is made, simply wait several seconds for the display to cycle to run mode. While the firmware is acquiring the time / date from the gps or wifi module, the display will indicate alternating between threes (X3:33:33) and fives (X5:55:55) Press Fast set & Slow set simultaneously to refresh the time. During run mode you can set up on /off preset times. Press slow set + toggle to enter sleep/wake times mode. Press fast set until the "on" time desired is shown.
