Steps to solder components in order for RBT.1 ____________________________________________ Please look the board over carefully and read the instructions and parts list to familiarize yourself with the assembly procedure before you begin. Please also familiarize yourself with transistor orientation: looking at the front (flat side), the three leads are, left to right: emitter, base, collector. A diode has a + and - side, and IC's are marked on one end with a small indented "notch". The IC sockets are also notched. Electrolytic (cylindrical shape) capacitors have a + & - side . Solder all components on the bottom of the board when possible. U1 - 18 pin IC socket R7, R8, R9 - 470K resistors R10, R11, R12 - 10K resistors ICSP 5 - pin header (optional) LED2 - RGB led - the orientation is NOT marked. When the board is viewed with the printing right side up, the cathode is second from left. R13, R14, R15, R16 - 220 ohm resistors Q7, Q8, Q9 - These are paired with the IR LEDs, the long lead is the anode (+) The clear led is the IR LED, the dark led is the phototransistor (Q's) The IR (clear) led on the right side is marked wrong polarity (+ should be on the left) Six pin header, between R16 & relay2 (optional) R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 - 10K resistors Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, Q5, Q6 - 2N3904 NPN transistors Six pin connector (M2+, M2-, M1+, M1-, DCV, GND) B1 - Piezo buzzer Relay1, Relay2, Relay3, Relay4 C1 - 10uF, 16V capacitor C2 - .01uF (103) capacitor C3, C4 - .47uF, 50V capacitor P1 - 1M potentiometer (105) U2 - 8 pin IC socket MIC - electret microphone LED1 - green led R1 - 470 ohm resistor R17, R18 - 1K resistor D1 - 1N4001 diode 7805 - 5V regulator S1 - slider switch 9V battery holder Use super glue to attach the battery holder to the board.
